Project HOSLA – Empowering Futures Through Education and Health

The Need: In many underserved communities, the journey toward independence is hindered by a lack of access to vocational training and basic health resources. For the 19 girls, widows, and single mothers we support, education is not just a path to knowledge - it is a vital lifeline to economic stability and self-sufficiency.

The Project: Project HOSLA provides a comprehensive, six-month Health Foundation course designed to equip participants with the skills needed to secure meaningful employment. To ensure every student can focus entirely on their studies, the Mina Fund covers:

  • Course Tuition: Ensuring high-quality instruction for every participant.

  • Essential Living Support: Providing the necessary funding for food and safe accommodation throughout the six-month duration.

Our Goal: To sustain this vital program for our current cohort of 19 participants, we are seeking to raise $5,800 CAD.

By contributing to Project HOSLA, you are investing directly in the future of these individuals, providing them with the professional foundation and financial security they need to transform their lives and support their families.

How You Can Help: Every donation, regardless of size, brings us closer to our goal and ensures that these 19 lives are changed for the better. Join us in carrying forward Dr. Mina MacKenzie’s legacy of compassion and service.
