On April 20, 2024, the Broadwell Christian Hospital family gathered to pay tribute to Mrs. Sarina Margurite Bayer, whose dedication to the hospital was a continuation of her mother, founder Dr. Meena MacKenzie’s, life work. Sarina and her husband, William, were instrumental in funding the equipment that powers the hospital, including our Ultrasound, Dental X-ray machines, and Industrial Washer [03:08].
The ceremony honored her enduring commitment with the dedication of the new Imaging and Dental Units in her memory, ensuring her name is forever linked to healing and care at BCH [01:08:03].
Perhaps the most exciting announcement was the establishment of the Sarina Scholarship. This scholarship will provide the opportunity for BCH's medical, nursing, and paramedical staff to pursue professional development and training [48:43].
